Broadway baby

Check out the way he's holding his candy cane and take a look at the fancy footwork. This guy is cutting the rug or maybe he’s ready for his Broadway. I just came from a New York Philharmonic performance at Lincoln Center celebrating Stephen Sondheim’s 80^th birthday, which is later this month. Nobody sang “Broadway Baby” but there were a lot of other songs from “Follies” and other Sondheim shows. One of the highlights was Bernadette Peters and Mandy Patinkin singing “Move On,” which brought back memories of when I first saw them in “Sunday in the Park with George” on Broadway a quarter of a century ago. This ornament was a real bargain, and I found it at my local supermarket.
