South Pole by Southwest

My good friend Anne Cronin found me a very different penguin ornament. I already have one in Jemez Pueblo style, but this new one is a Navajo sandpainting by the artist Aaron Clark (Ah Shíí Níí). Anne is a relentless penguin ornament hunter. She said she had bought another one, but took it back when she found one like it on the blog. Then she kept looking, even in unlikely places, until she spotted this little gem. You rock, Anne. And thanks for breathing a little life into My Penguin Tree during the current penguin ornament drought.

  1. No, you rock, since the thrill is in the hunt. Thanks for inspiring us!
